You know the saying, ‘Home is where the heart is’. Well. If that is true, then I must have two hearts.
Long holidays make me feel a tad odd, sometimes. The need to be back in my hometown versus the need to be in Subang with the rest of my friends (they are not just friends, they are family). I get heavy-hearted whenever I leave either places. Don’t get me wrong, I love both places but honestly, most of the time I wish they were both the same place. Why couldn’t my family be where my friends are?
Then again, I appreciate my family more now after I am based outstation. Similarly, distance makes the heart grow fonder right?
Have I wondered how differently my life would have turned out to be if I had made different choices? Yes. Would it be better? Who knows, right? I am glad that I chose this path. Although there are times where I wish I could disappear and just start afresh.
Bleh I am such a narcissist.
ANYWAY. I got a new laptop! Woohoo! No more dead battery, no more heavy-ass laptop! I had my previous laptop for 3 years plus and it is still in good condition if not for the horrible battery. In university, we use our laptops a lot. So, I bring my laptop to uni quite often. I bring it around everywhere when work has to be done. You see, I take the shuttle bus to uni and because of always carrying my laptop everywhere, I got biceps! or triceps or intercepts, whatever. I GOT MUSCLES.
Who needs the gym? Just get a really heavy laptop and carry it for long periods of time.
Heh 😉
And. It is currently 34DEGREES (Celsius). WHAT. What is wrong with the weather?! It’s so hot and dry and I feel like I’m in an oven. That is not the worst part; weather forecasts say that it will be 36degrees tomorrow. So hot…. That’s it. I’m hiding out in an air-conditioned room.
